The Newcastle Paramount

I am a big fan of this building and would like to see it retained, eventually restored to it's former glory for a new use in the 21st Century.

However that is looking increasingly unlikely as it is closed, boarded up and patrolled by security guards.

The Building was briefly opened in November for a video festival but remains otherwise unused.

Searches for "Odeon" or "Paramount" at www.icnewcastle.icnetwork.co.uk bring up occasional mentions in the press via the the Newcastle Chronicle & Journal.
